Amy L. McAtee, ASID, CID, CAPS, is the creative force behind Inspired Interiors. She is a NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer and California Certified Interior Designer. Amy has over 20 years of experience serving San Diego County with the highest quality service and integrity. She is a person committed to the excellence of the design profession.
Amy is a graduate from SMU, Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Broadcast & Film Production, and from UCSD with a Professional Certificate in Interior Design. She is an active member of the American Society Of Interior Designers, ASID; National Kitchen and Bath Association, NKBA and a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) with the National Association of Home Builders.
Amy has been married to her husband Joe for 24 years and they have two grown children together. With extensive living and foreign travel experiences, she has been culturally influenced and inspired to design artistic & innovative environments for her clients. Amy expresses her artistic talents in oil painting, enjoys cycling, skiing, wine tasting, and participating in the church choir.
Our staff at Inspired Interiors consists of talented, educated professionals with expertise in space planning, interior lighting design, flooring, wall coverings, window treatments, upholstery, color coordination and custom furnishings. More than simply "decorators", the design team provides direction, insight and emphasis on both the functional and the visual aspects of interior design.
